9yrs old on the box....LMAO!
seems like this topic come to an end, well it's been a hot topic anyway, oh not really I think I am going to post a clip on snow about my 3 years old baby[:I] catching our RSRC in the future maybe next month not a long one you know digital camera clip file how long can it be well is for vette but you guys can take a peak, stay tune vette
happy new year
Thank you everyone for making an opinion and offering insight on the topic. Happy New Year!!!! I will be putting a better motor into my 'toy' car, and upgrading to a Tamiya Tl-01 chassis electric 1:10. I will still be hopping up the toy tho until it goes real fast. For now, it is good enuff. Just how to snowproof.......
"Toys'bour us" very funny dude, got me laughing!
too funny it should have said 9 years and under.
you guys are silly.vette7t9,how will you still be hoping up a car that can not be hopped up?also you thank everyone for thier oppinion and insight on the topic but everyones` opinion made you look pretty stupid.
i've drawn up a lot of plans for modding the toy. plans include integrating a full hobby suspension system into it, new motor and gears, ball bearings, and of course tires and wheels. my tires are already burnt out from pavement driving, and icy road burnouts.
and how to hook up an ESC?
can sum1 offer some info or tips on how to install relays? are they supposed to force more current into the motor? how do they work?
you wouldn`t need a relay with a ESC.Relays only break the circuit of current at a certine, rated amperage.in other words,if, for some reason, there is more amp draw than you rate it for,it will turn itself off.
just follow the specs and dont exeed the limits of the ESC and it will be fine.
also these plans you `drew up` for `modifing the toy`....after all that stuff you dreamed up of putting in it,there is nothing left of the Radio Shack car.exept the plastic frame and the heavy, plastic, body.that is, if you can cut it all up to fit everything.why would you want to do that?you mind as well make somthing out of a light wieght aluminum frame.get a kit and build it yourself.then think about modifing it.
this is the way you modify a Radio Shack car:go to your local hobby shop and buy two of the most power full rockets and Duct Tape them on each side of the car,go to a huge parking lot, turn on the controler aim the car into the distance, light the rockets and let it fly as far away as it will go...
NICE! now that doesn't seem too outa hand, considering im an avid model rocketist! and yes, these are "hobby store" rockets built and modified from kits. I have a few small B and C engines and one large D engine that im gona use. But putting it on a car seems realy outrageous, considering once theyre off theres no brakes. But a good idea non the less if you want a fireshow and smoke.
yea! fire and smoke to the Radio Shack cars
OK yall hold on a min. I work at a Radio Shack. And yes we have the hobby grade Whatever you want gas powered, electric, And even aircraft of either variety. But VETTE just spend the money and buy a real car. You will be much happier when you realize, hey I can put a two speed in this thing. Or Wow 1.5 horses and 45000 R's?
i dout the Radio Shack you work at supplies gas/nitro RC cars.or even air craft,as you mentioned.
ha ha bro.right, finaly someone that works at Radio Shack.what a laugh.negitive about Radio Shack RC cars?ummm i wonder why.do you have any idea `bro`?
WHA-T THE #@$% you talking about
you took out what you posted somehow bro and now you are like WTF.thats #@$% up.
You crazies. Anyways, im enjoyin my rc much. Drive it everyday, and chasing cars is fun. Intimidating learning drivers is highly hilarious too!
vette you said that you could`nt afford an RC car so you got a Radio Shack toy instead.i know you are not chasing cars.i can ride my bicycle faster than the Radio Shack toy.
TIMROCK you are an IDIOT. We do carry gas powered rc cars and electric aircraft (mostly the Firebird series from Hobbyzone). I am the guy that got us hooked up with great planes. Mostly just to get stuff at cost. We are a franchised Radio Shack and can carry anything that we wish to. If you would like to call us the number is 320-629-6808. We are in pine city, MN and if you would like to stop up and see me or what we do carry make sure to bring your car so I can laugh. You can say 150MPH all you wish but proving it on the pavement is what really counts. I could even have the local police there to gun the vehicle. Thats how I know how fast mine goes. If this sounds like I took several of your posts personal its because I did. I dont even know you and you are rippin on me. Well I can tell you this, the thing I hate the most is idiots giving advice.
By the way I dont care for the radio shack vehicles either but you cant give a three year old a gas car or any car that does 30MPH out of the box and say "go have fun".
