I got back too late last night to post these pix, and was too busy today scrambling to get a model entered into the contest, but finally, here they are.
One of the side benefits of a tour like this is that you get to see other people's houses - and some are quite spectacular.

    John Slean's Maplehurst Sub

Imagine my delight when I saw this layout - I'd seen it earlier in the June issue of RR Model Craftsman, but was left wondering how he created Sharp Industries. So naturally that was my first question. And the answer? A couple of Smallman Street warehouse kits from City Classics.

This was very cool - John has the same travelling crane and the same kitbashed building beside it as I do!!!!

Last stop on the tour was this club layout featuring 13 scale miles of mainline with 232 hand-laid turnouts. Awesome!
