    Jasco (and other dads),

I just read you were building the Aliens M-44 for your son...

Maybe I'm overstepping my bounds, even though I'm a dad, too, but what about giving your youngster a "project" to build, too?

I saw "flyable, yet simple" models at

that include an XF-23 Black Widow II, an XB-70 Valkyrie, an F-15 Eagle, and the only "swing-wing" F-14 Tomcat that I've seen so far.

These are simple as they are 2D/3D designs and should allow you to "guide" the youngster in a short project, and if they fly... WOW!

If your youngster isn't mature enough to be trusted with anything more than a pair of blunt scissors, these might be the ticket and who knows... if the "kid" has fun flying them, you might have another set of shared hobbies.
