The Tennessee Valley Railroad Trip

Hi Everyone:

I took my friend Tracy, who loves trains, to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga yesterday. I've been there before, but she never has! I took over 150 pictures! Here's some of those pictures. I haven't gotten them all downloaded from the camera.

We rode the 610 steam locomotive. You may have heard the historical story of these tracks. Do you remember the story of "The Great Locomotive Chase" during the Civil War? These are those same tracks where this takes place! Further down the tracks from the shoppe is where the "Yankee Spies" were tried and hung for spying! They have a specail memorial of the "General" locomotive for them. This train trip does not take you that far. However, they do have them that does!

Enjoy the pictures,
Andy

Here's some more pictures. When I get the others downloaded. I'll ad them for all to see. I sure do love the smell of coal being burned in those old steam locomotives!
