The Real Thing Circa 1910

  1. This is an interior view of the Battle Creek shops of the Grand Trunk RR. Note the machinery...although the cutting and drilling may have been done by machines, the fitting, brazing, and riveting was all done by hand. Looks like these guys could use the power of mama's Chlorox 2! The card is postmarked 1910 and is new to my collection.

  3. Don't really know what's going on back's another shot of the shop taken from the trusses. From my collection. Some shop, eh? :eek:
