i heard about this also CNWman,they also were talking a while back about restarting the subway project that was ended in the 30's.the tunnel is still in pretty good shape.but man,seeing streetcars again in cincinnati would be so awesome.it would be one pretty sweet "heritage day" if they brought out 20's,30's and 40's trolleys!--josh

You can just about guarantee the equipment will come from Oregon Iron Works as they're the only domestic builder of streetcars.

There's also at least one Cincinnati street car from the 1950's still running around in S.F. on their 'F' line between the intercity and Pier 39. Heck, even the inner city traffic lights kinda look like train signals.
