the other week I saw the 3D-movie The Martian ((Matt Damon) in a Pathé-theatre.
Really enjoyed and especially liked the vehicle he used driving around

I was wondering if any good designer is thinking about a paper model of it alike the Moon-film vehicle from Martin Sänger?
Or have I missed an already exisiting kit?

Always provide a picture when you are asking for something. This vehicle looks pretty simple to build, and I have no doubt there will be may simple ones, maybe a nice one. Definitely modeled off of the NASA vehicle. Actually, the NASA vehicle looks far more thought out. They should have rented it to make the movie!! It would be much harder to make a model of though. :)

Have you ever tried designing? You know, even with just using "Paint", you can make awesome models. If you try, we will help. :)

Both are fine vehicles though and would make great models. I think there will be a model as soon as more reference material is available. This would be the perfect subject for Julius Perdana, IMO. (BTW, speaking of Julius, it'sbeen a long time since he updated his site... I hope he is still in the business. ;) )

    Have done some designing: houses/buildings.
See my avatar... That one was done with PaintShopPro.

But as Revell-fan mentioned: too little references. Certainly for me having no experience with vehicles.
    Maybe in the future.

Buying the DVD and taking stills from it is the best way to get reference material when there is none. You then scale the model off of a known object. :)

Yep, that's what I think. Once the Bluray has been released we might have a good chance to get a fine model. Maybe I'll talk Martin Saenger into it; he will definitely need a new subject for the upcoming Spacedays in 2016 and he has already delivered a top-notch model of the Moon Rover. ;)
