Uhh.Yup! Nah, it's just like minds think alike. I realized that when you got all of my dirty jokes. :)

I've heard that, and always thought it was an oxymoron. I always liked: "The tigers of wrath are wiser than the horses of instruction"........William Blake. :)

That model looks fantastic with whatever background you could put on it. It really is superb. :)

It is a brilliant model, open to all sorts of additions.......;)

I like @zathros 's earlier idea of a lit interior/cockpit, landing lights, suggested wing tip nav lights and spinning props....:)

But, if I am going to do that, I will completely rebuild the model. What is nice about this display, is that I could build 2 or, many more, at the same scale, and all would fit. There are many re-paints available of this model, so the possibilities are endless.

Well, whatever I do, the model is gonna have to be re-built anyway... Thanks to my 'friends,' the Lepisma saccharina

But anyway, the current model serves well as a template for the brick by brick build up ......... ;)

That's coming out really nice. Too bad you couldn't train the Silverfish to eat away at the right spots, the could do some effective weathering!! :)

The basic blast effect and positioning of the brick faces, is close to my satisfaction. Now I need to thicken up the foam plates with offcuts of foam, to better resemble broken bricks. The resulting shapes will be roughened up with a wire brush to hide the laminating of the foam.

Oh, and funnily enough, the bricks that Smurfette is standing on, are the dimensional inspiration for the bricks that are to be built into this project ...... ;)

She looks like "Cheeka", I had her when I was 5 years old till 11, then she disappeared. I have had cats all my life. I lost tttt3 in one years time. Carlisle, 25 years old, Kidney failure, her daughter Rambette, 23 years old, cancer of the jaw bones, Rambette's daughter, non functioning Pancreas predicted to life maybe a year, she lived 17 years, and I must add Jesse, my Dalmatian, who lived for 14 years.

They all died within a year or so of each other. That time was the "Winter of my discontent". I went to the shelter and adopted a dog named Rhyse, still have him, have no idea of how old really he is, and we intended to adopt a solid black cat, but on the way out, another bigger black fluffy as hell cat jumped on me, while I was sitting, trying to get up, I asked who he was, and they said it was Abigail son, I said, I'll take him too! They are beautiful, and the 2 cats and dog get along excellently. :)
