I recently picked up a used locomotive GP9, while i was taking it apart for service i found that the worm shaft covers had broken locks. Thes look somewhat like Athearn, but are different. If anyone has ever seen this sort of truck and has any information as to where i can get replacment parts it would be appreciated.
The only information on the truck is TAPP .

NorthWest ShortLine is the standard for replacement gears, trucks, etc, etc. That is usually the suggestion when you don't know exactly what you have got...

Good luck!

It may be one of the old Front Range models, is the hood scale width? If it is, Trains Unlimited in Denver Colorado has the tooling for the Front Range gp7's & 9's. Also, if the bolsters in the frame are filed slightly thinner, Athearn Trucks will fit, and I believe the drive hooks right up to it. I think the drive shafts are interchangeable.
