Good afternoon,

Ages since I been on. I have a very carefully used Proto 2000 SW9 in a very attractive black Canadian National livery. I am changing the Couplers, going for Kadee 'old reliables' .
My issue is re-attching the shell. There are 5 plastic grabs on the shell, but with 2 exceptions they are not engaging, any suggestions?

Regards,

Could be a wire, either from the lights or speaker(It does have sound right?), might be caught between the shell and the side of the drive train. Best to just take the shell back off, and check to see if anything is binding, or something on top of the drive train is hitting the top of the shell.

Good idea

Great idea, will use a veru litle tape and make sure everything is 'packed in line'. Trouble is I have managed to engage 2 of the 5, oh well.
