That technique looks amazing Harold. I've looked at the how-to on your site and plan to use it on some of my stuff, but was wondering about the look of brown wood in less exposed areas fading into the gray/bleached wood. You nailed it. Is the brown area done with paint, or a stain / dye of some sort?
