Hi, There is a competition in Czech forum called "The Steampunk race" and I want to introduce mine Steam machine named " Flamboyant Kodiak" . Don´t worried about the sand camo - I´m gonna make it STEEL !

Wow, that is awesome! I'm not sure if they are condensers or what, but the wood barrel thingy's are incredible!

This started out as a cardboard box and it is as if an 18th Century alternate Universe is creeping up the box and converting it. Really is amazing. It is also one of the few things I have seen on any paper model forum that is truly "Designed".

X-wing is now completed, so I can get back with the Kodiak - Another piece will be the rear part of the main body - there is something like an engine room with a lot of exhaust tubes - but I don´t have a mood for them So i´m going to build the bridge ( rather footbridge)

Wonderful! I have built the original version. The kodiak was borrowed by the guys at ZOIC and used as a ship of the rag-tag fleet in the new Galactica series. I think I have seen a steampunk Voyager some time ago. And some paintings of a steampunk Cylon Centurion. Very cool and creative!
