Hello fellow modellers,

I was wondering, what are the best steam locos... I know all about that site, spookshow, or what ever...

But I was wondering about your personal experineces...

And I want to have one, just to add it to my collection... What loco shoud be my first one? I really like Heavy Mikado from kato....

hey luis that would be a good one to start with from what I've readed and and the the kato on spookshow as a usra mike I think is the same thing as A looking to buy a couple my self rich

Bachman's Spectrum 2-8-0 is another good one and Model Expo has em' on sale for $65 right now Luis.

The MDC 2-8-0 is great.

A lot of the Bachman's don't run well out of the box, but you can buy them today from Model Expo for $63-70, so you can afford to buy a couple looking for a good one.....

in fact, looking at my range of boxes, there are a lot of good steamers, some are real old and need re-motoring and tender pickups.
