Howdy all...
Need to ask if someone has any info on where one can purchase a Steam donkey engine preferably powering a loading crane in HO or narrow gauge.

Sorry you did not get the info you were looking for in your other thread of the same name... Maybe no one has a definitive answer...

Have you tried looking at www.walthers.com? That is probably the biggest searchable on-line source for RR models. You can also google something like "HO scale steam donkey" and see what you get. There may be smaller manufacturers out there that will turn up that way...

Try the "Big W"

Alexander Scale Models sells a stiff leg derrick http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/120-7514 which can be easily "powered" with the Evergreen Hill model, both are real fine kits with excellent detail.

I bought a plastic one at the LHS for $8, which is not a bad model, but there are no connecting rods to the flywheels.
