Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

With help from Revell-fan (i.e. providing the colour pallet and the graphics for the markings), I have re-coloured the Thunder Fighter in a "STEALTH" paint scheme.
As you can see by the photos, I have added the cockpit interior and will be adding the landing gear.
I am also adding greebles as I go along. ( I know that I have made a few mistakes along the way)

For those of you who want to repaint your TF in the "STEALTH" paint scheme, this is the pic that Revell-fan and I used for such:

Just look under the category of "BUCK ROGERS". There you will find a few more paint schemes as well.

More updates coming soon.

I really like the color of this. Looks almost Army Air Force. :)

I too like this paint scheme. It does suit it quite well indeed.
I could see this plane (as well as any of the other TF variants) flying escort with a stealth Viper on a recon mission.

I do not have a X-Wing, but I do have a MK-II Viper and the TF's in both BSG paint schemes that I can show off together, as well as my entire TF collection (when I am finished with this one).

Thank you Silver. I see what you are talking about. I am going to attempt to redo the canopy and make it look a little better.

It's only the experienced modelers who can be told such things and not get offended. No reason to be either. I saw a rather fantastic ship model built, I won't say when and where, but recently, and this almost 2 year project was marred by the simple fact this person did not color in edges. Almost 2 years between design and finish. I spoke with the designer of that model, and what could he say, you can print out the edges?

A great model Rhaven! :)

Nice to see you posting Silveroxide. You, and the great repository of knowledge you carry around is always welcome and welcomed. :)

Thank you for the kind words Zathros.
I am glad that Silver pointed that out to me. I consider him more the just an expert. If he says something, I tend to listen and take what ever he says on-board and if that means that I should change something or do something differently ( or what ever else), then I will generally go ahead and do it.

It is because of people like you and Silveroxide, that keep me here and help me improve my skills in this wonderful hobby.
I greatly encourage and appreciate any and all advice and constructive criticism about my work.

It's been a long time since I have made a model of any quality that matters. You guys are ones keeping the hobby alive, and pushing it forward. :)

Well then my friend, it is time that you print out a Thunder Fighter and build one (or all of the variants for that matter:twisted:).:whip1:
I (for one) would like to see what you can do.:yep::yep::yep:
Yes, I have just thrown down the gauntlet.
