Star Wars Y-Wing Building Threat

Y-Wing - the movie version.

I already posted a building thread for a Y-Wing, but this is the version which has been shown in the movies.



It is made out of 3 papes - should not be too difficult.
What I have seen is, that the cannon at the top is missing. As this is an essential part I will try to use the cannon of the other y-wing (hope the dimension will fit).

found it also...only it has a serious lack of greebles..

and an Y-wing needs the greebles.. are you going to build it with extra's?
that is why I started my own Y-wing.

Imcold was also working on a Y-wing. what would be more detailed.

yep greebles are missing - but it is a rather small model so greebles would kill me
I know and love your models - they are very detailed and very big. Unfortunately I am not
able and I even don´t have the patience to make an own version of each model I would like
to call my own. So I have to use what is given, but in this case I will try to ad a cannon on the top.

next pics - made the connectors in a wrong way - too late for correction.

Will post correct pics afterwards as I decided to create the same model a second time (double size) as a present for my nephew.

1 in given size and one double sized.

Summary - easy model - no greebles.
Double size works fine - although I did not print in A3 but in 2 times A4.

You are right, it is an easy model and doesn´t look bad. Only thing I really missed was the cannon on the top which I added from a model of the millenium falcon.
