Hi again,

I found a second version in the download section, and altough it is summer, I had to start it.

Here first pics of the more detailed version.
I enlarged some parts - as can bee seen on the photos.

- Ok - have problems to upload photos - I´ll try again tomorrow.

Next steps - assambling of the main body and cutting side parts into shape.
As I saw in the pictures of the model the parts are used as a total square. I did not like this idea so i cut some additional parts out to make them look more useful. Furtermore I printed a second set of them to be able to watch from both sides (above and from below) and to see the correct colours on it and not only a white area.
(talking about the parts shown in picture 4 - hope it is understandable).

Parts of the backside. These parts are rather easy.
I know the superstructure is coming......and the superstructure was rather difficult.
Not sure but found 8 engines - as far as I know the destroyer has only 6 - will see how it looks.

This looks awesome! :) What do you think, which ones is closer to the original filming model?

Oh I think based on the detail the second one is closer to the model used in the movie. venator_over_coruscant_by_pakpolaris-d35x9gp.jpg The colouring of the super structure were additional parts. The original coloured parts - like can be seen at the photo - are also available.

Nice job man, superb!! Make some clear plastic wings, get the center of gravity right, and I bet you could make this thing glide. Though I wouldn't have the heart to throw a model like that. Just thinking out loud. ;)
