LOL! For a moment, I thought they were holding white crow bars and then I read what you said about he purse like tricorders.

These figurines a nicely detailed. I don't think I've seen these in NZ. Mind you, I don't normally look for them. I'm more interested in the technology side.

We have an event called Armageddon here, that's similar to the US Comic Conn. I'm sure I could pick up a few there. They would make deck and shuttle diorama's look more impressive.

Ok, here goes. Here are the pics I tried to post earlier.

Here are some pics of the Nacels and with them finally attached.
I think I should have strengthened them internally, but they seem to be holding up ok. I think the hexigon is a pretty stable shape.
I forgot to take photo's of me attaching the nacels, but the last nacel was just attached where you can see where the shuttle is on it's side.

I've downloaded the bridge to try out, but for this model I think I'll try a shuttle bay first. I've also downloaded a Type 8 & 9 Shuttle. I would like to build a bunch to the same scale.

Following Rhaven Blaack's suggestion, I'm working on an interior at the moment. I'll build another shuttle this size, but instead of paper I'm going to try a build printed onto 225gsm card. I'm hoping it's more sturdy at this size. I've used it before and t goes through the laser printer nicely. Comes out with a nice glossy look to.
