I need some help in this matter. I only have a 2x4 space to work with. I currenlty have a continuous running 2x4 HO layout, with 3 industries. I'm running a heavily modified GP40 (to make the radius) with 40 foot rolling stock. the layout is kind of crowded with all of the buildings and spurs. I just picked up a bachmann N scale set (highballer) with ez track...so im thinking on making a switch to N.
Heres the deal.
with such a small area there is not much variety as far as running trains. I have a hard time not constantly changing the layout....so as you can imagine i never get to the scenery stage. So im thinking the ez track could be just the ticket for someone as indecisive as me. Maybe i just need to find the correct tack plan for my taste. I like to just let the train do loops for a while and not necessarily have a ton of turnouts. So i guess im looking for the longest possible mainline run.
I'm sorry if this confuses you guys but I don't want to waste time or money making mistakes.
