Thanks a lot, nice present for Christmas!
First SF papercraft, now you, it's a wonderful christmas for all paperware fans!
Thank you very much. You have just made a lot of people very
Happy. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Yay! What a Christmas Present...
Thank you sooooooo much! :-D
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Now, lets start building....
Hello, Keith :
I downloaded every page!! Maybe I missed it ( and can't find it) but I don't see the guide telling which paper size to use in printing the excellent model.
Thanks so much....
That's done it, and thank you again for providing this!
Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas in Hawaiian) to all on the Forum,
now I'm off to drool over the Eagle and the other models I got for Christmas (and the new digital camera and printer)...
Don't forget to thank Marc
Muhammad - the paper size is A4 or US letter, the sheets should fit both.
The best weight is 100 gsm for most parts and 80 gsm for the frame parts.
(100 gsm is high quality laser paper, 80 gsm is low quality ink jet.)
I'm sure you can figure out the US paper weights.
I need to update the instructions and do a print guide, but most modellers should be capable of building it with whats there.
Glad you like it.
Do you have a Paypal account so I can make a donation to you for all your hard work on this (I know it's been around for some time and am glad you finally finished it)?
Keith (et al), MANY, MANY THANKS!! No problem in the US paper weights thing. The Philippines is still, in most areas, doing it the American way....And should be abvle to get by with present instructions....
Best regards and more card modeling power to you.... Sincerely,
Awesome work Marc & Keith. So much so that I've joined up especially to say a public thank you! I'll be sticking around to learn more about card modelling too.
I'm having trouble with the Command module though - there doesn't seem to be anywhere to join the parts - any tips?
For those of you interested in the Eagle in general, see my sig!
im thinking is there going to be interest in additional modules for the eagle
by keith and marc?
i have seen used in the past a booster module used on top of the eagle
as well as a freighter module and a cargo module
it would be really cool if we could find some one interested in making these additions...
possibly keith and marc ... wink wink..
i find it to be a very interesting idea
and certainly i know i am very interested in these additions to the models
so lets hear what some of you people think about this idea of additions
best regards robert the hermit
Didn't get you there the first time; and, excuse my FUZZY MIND!!! MARC thanks a lot,
They'd be very welcome but I have to get my head around building this one first.
It's a little different from what I'm used to! :yep:
you are making it sound like a bad thing:rofl::lol::-D
Lol, not at all - I'm finding though that my hands are aching in places they don't usually.
The kit has caused quite stir on my board too - we've wanted somthing like this for a long time! http://www.eagletransporter.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=440
I am a huge Space 1999 fan but have been away from card modeling for a few months. Last week I picked up my scissors and started building again. While looking for new things in the card model world, I discovered the Big Eagle finally arrived.
A huge thanks to Keith and Marc for this great model.
For what it's worth, I plan on building two or three of these at 1:33 scale, probably starting next week. (I first need to finish a Ki-44 from GreMir Models and a Fw-190 from Halinski.)
Does anyone know the length of the completed model? I need to know the actual length so I can rescale it.
Is there anyone here that can email me the file?
Hi, New to the group and I'm hoping someone can email the file for Keith's Eagle. I've tried the link posted and it's dead. Email to email@example.com
Thanks in advance.
Any chance we can get a launch pad and boarding tube for this baby?
Better yet, how about the entire Moonbase Alpha in the same scale?
