for your viewing pleasure this morning, we have a Life-Like P2K Southern Pacific SD9. i repainted it because the SP colors they used were wayyyy too light. then i added new decals, sunrise enterprises filter box, cab extension, and lights, and a Details West horn and plow. and some sun shades. this one turned out a bit better than my last SD9E (the one behind this one in the pictures) since taking these pictures i have found out that it is supposed to have a steam generator. that has been added and it looks pretty cool.

here is a link to a picture of the prototype: http://espee.railfan.net/nonindex/sd09e_photos/4451_sp-sd09e-bob_dengler.jpg

Excellent paint job. Yes that one and the 4450 were called Huff and Puff. They were used in the commute fleet by the SP before Caltrains took over. Notice they followed the famous SP 4449 steam engine in numbers. I don't know if SP did that on purpose but it was neat none the less.
