Sound decoder woes

OK, I bought a Soundtraxx DSD-100LC diesel decoder and put it in stationary. It works ! I finally have sound:thumb:.
One problem though. When I advance the throttle the sound will speed up, drop to an idle, and then speed up again. It does this when I am running a consist or not. I don't think it is a voltage drop because right now I have it wired directly to the buss wires.
Any ideas folks?
