Here's a few basic rules that will apply towards all photo competitions. If there are deviations or additional rules, they will appear in the intial post announcing the contest.

    1. Only registered members are allowed to enter or vote in the contests
    2. Pictures must have been taken by the one that enters it.
    3. Only one post (unless otherwise specified) per entry and only one entry per member. Multiple entries will be deleted and only the first one will be considered.
    4. Normal Gauge picture posting criteria prevails, That being appropriate content, a maximum of 640 x 480 pixils and no larger than 65K file size. Links to pictures are allowed, but please avoid posting the link itself since it tends to get overlooked.
    5. Black and white or color shots are OK.
    6. Some photo editing is acceptable such as sharpening an image, adding smoke or steam, adding sky or maybe smoothing out the abrupt edge of a layout.
There are no prizes other than knowing others appreciate you work. With this in mind, please, no campaigning, even as a joke. These contests are a lot of fun and seems to bring out the best in people. We all appreciate all the entries, and everyone deserves to be a winner.
