Is the pullstart brand new? If not you probably need a new one-way clutch bearing. If it is brand new and slipping already take the recoil off and clean the one-way clutch bearing with a q-tip and a good degreaser that leaves no residue. Also clean the starting staft. Make sure that you get both good and clean and dry. Reassemble and check it out. If you have problems right away (after running a tank or so). Take it all apart and see if the bearing is still clean and dry. If it is not you may have a leaky bearing (either bearing or shaft is not to specs) for the starting shaft allowing fuel/oil to get to the one-way clutch bearing making it slip. If that is the case send her back to the manufacture and make 'em give you a new one.
