SJFL Invades Sodor!

More Trains Than Brains
Speaking of Thomas the tank, we found this little battery operated jobber at Wal-Mart today and we decided this might be easier for our 3 year old to handle than the HO scale electric model. It's actually turned out to be a lot of fun. If I could figure out a way to make the switches remote operated, I'd almost start modeling a battery operated Sodor exclusively. :D

Here's a short vid I put up on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8AJkeVris4
Cover your ears if you don't like Ozzy Osbourne. :D

Thomas Modeler
Ah, the ol' double-post glitch. Hee-hee, yeah the battery operated ones are quite fun, although they can't reverse and "Mr. Hand" has to fasten the couplings. Your three-year-old should have no problem with the HO models, though. As a matter of fact she might find it easier than you, as to a three-year-old the models would seem bigger.
