shamrock hotel 'neon' sign

i am interested in miller eng's animated neon sign for the shamrock hotel.

i was wondering about the colors, are they very colorful?

[i have the theater and star drug and i feel the color is very washed out].

also, any ideas on deepening the colors of the single color signs?
