    My fiancee, railroader9731 and I have decided to go with Conrail for our new layout, we just purchased the new SD80MAC,and a SD60. They should be here in a couple of days, THANK GOD for ebay.... :thumb:
    I can't wait to start.... :D

    will do, he's going to keep everyone posted with pics on progress of layout,and i'm gonna post pics of new locos as they arrive..

    We HAD to get the new SD80 bc it was a steal on ebay,and a SWEET looking loco.

    I have the SD90MAC. It shares the same chassis and motor. Sweet engines. They are strong and fast, yet can run at very low speed.

    SWEET, if i may ask, what is the price range on the SD90? This is the first layout that I can say I'm going to have part of... Excited and can't wait

    I got mine off Ebay too for 50 bucks. 90's a becoming quite rare now like the Kato dash 9's. I am looking for one in CEFX livery, almost impossible.

    Yeah, eBay,'s great to stock up on locos, I bought my first few locos through there.
    Also check out the For Sale section of this forum, and, once in a while you'll run across someone who's selling off their whole collection for financial reasons...their loss is your gain!
