If Burt's SS1 and WK looked strange to you... their latest spacecraft and carrier plane looks even stranger...

Burt's really full of surprises... SS2 looks like a business jet with SS1 style wings and tail, and WK2 has a double-fuselage config, with 4 turbofans...

    I like it!!!

care for a card model anyone? :-D

For some reason SS2 reminds me a bit of the X-20 and the Hermes shape-wise.

Had just been looking at this the other day, awesome! But we designers need some 3-views for the least... Any takers? Ralph? Jan? :D

Actually, it is possible to extrapolate a reasonably accurate 3D model out of a relatively isometric view. As more info becomes available, you then refine the details. This will be covered in Tutorial 5: Special Techniques.

Modeling time: 1 hr 10 minutes.

...absolutely shameless plug for the tutorial series.:mrgreen::mrgreen:

--I might also one day do it in Rhino and that'll be two models for SS2 already!

I am .... "impressed" doesn't really say it all.

You don't happen to work for certain 3-letter government agencies, or a defense company perhaps with an certain not-so-sweet-smelling little critter as it's "mascot"? LOL

Holy Moley is all I can say ... and I wish I had your skills and talent.

    That's fast!!!

Sir, will you publish your model when it gets done?

Apparently, Retro Rockets (a resin/vacuum-form/injection mold/whatever plastic model company) plans to release the Tier 1 and Tier 1b models in 1/32 scale...

I'll bet that these models will be very expensive... but I don't care... we already have card ones here :-D

Hows about a petition to Scaled or Virgin G. to get someone to design one for promotional purposes....couple of thousand of them around the world?
