If they permit me that I introduce myself:
I call Maria and am in the cardboard model construction still a beginner.
Till present I have built only two models with very low difficulties degree
I hope that I can also collect here my experience.
At the beginning I might show my model: „ Saint Paulus cathedral in Münster “
On the photos one sees ready western side of the buildings

    Welcome Maria

The lady of the beautiiful castles you may be a beginner but a lot of people would like to be that neat.

Sir will have to watch himself or you will be rocking his perch.

Welcome Maria and very well done on the cathedral.

(Aren't there supposed to be gluey fingerprints on the models ?? )

    Welcome aboard Maria,

Beatiful work for someone just starting. This is the site for improving your cardmodeling skills or, for that fact, just looking at and marveling at the work of others.

Again welcome aboard and enjoy, Gil

What is it about this website that attracts such talent?! Maria, this is excellent modelmaking! Please, keep posting these photos, they show just how neat a model should be.

I cant say that Im one of those talented people as of yet, but I thought I might share a thought.

I belong to the Cobalt Club a site dedicated to old time radio, which uses the same php system. As with here, there has been a collection of afficianados who not only know their OTR, but the history and context of the shows as well.

Maybe its the style of posting that attracts those willing to delve a bit deeper than the norm.

Well Maria, between you and Scorpio, I don't know who's work I like best. Both of you a master builders. I think I will give up on close-up photography of my models ... hehe. Thanks for letting us see your work!

By the way, not long ago I was thinking of starting the build on the Brandenburg Tor model I have. My idea is to build it like I saw it in 1977. Please let me know if you plan to build it...I wouldn't want to embarrass myself 8v)
