Below are 4 photos of my most recently completed model, Slava.

The first shows the color drawings that I worked from. It is obvious that the shade of blue of my model is off. I had to live with that as I did not have a source of card in the right shade of blue and I don't choose to paint.

The model is in 1/550 scale. It portrays Slava in 1917, shortly before it's demise at Moonsund. By that time the ship's appearance had been much modified from her sisters of the Borodino class.

Is that a scratch-build mate? Brilliant detailing overall; especially considering the scale. Its only what, 22 cm long or so?

    Great work!

    That is a great model!!
I really like those pre-dreadnoughts and you have certainly done a great job of capturing one of the important ones.
Thanks a lot for sharing this with us.

    Paperwarrior: Thanks for the complements.

Tirick: Thank you, also. Slava is a scratchbuilt. She is a bit small, being under 22 cm or 8.5 inches.
