yes! Like Nobi has said ... always remember that just because someone has made a 3D model and you can get it to an unfolding program. There is a 99.999% chance it's not going to work. Many game models are low poly but they are not perfect for card models.
I have yet to work with 1 single digital model from someone else (not created for paper output) that did'nt need some serious re-work. Vertices do not match, edges do not match, faces go through others, missing faces, inverted faces. and so on. By the time one gets through making the changes and doing tests ... your almost better off to have just created the whole piece from scratch yourself.
The plus side to game models is ... the texture.
