just started building the late ulrich prahns romulan scout ship.i spent afew hours cleaning up and joining the line work he brilliantly created annd then colured the partsusing paint (4 hrs work !!).i think if ulrich hadnt of passed away (r.i.p.)he would have coloured this wonderful model.

Great job Col. Kurtz. Why not build the Galileo 7. I'm doing an old one I got from phoxim.de awhile back, but it doesn't seem to be available.

Hey man, whatever works. You do with what you've got to do with. I just happen to have a big ole honkin garage, but I've had to put a LOT of work into it to get it where it's at. I've got a 65 Ford Galaxy that's going in in the Spring for a frame off restoration that may take years. I almost wish I didn't have the garage.sign1

Hi col. kurtz

honest and open ~ You did a very good job of building this model.!

* Crisp
* Clean
* and True ( judging from the photo's)

The colours look great, what paper + printer model.. did you use..?

Next model.? = Build this model again! You mentioned you did some line work ~ bitmap savvy .. Try a spot of experimenting with the colour correction / Gamma correction / lightness and darkness on the parts (quick and easy to do with most bitmap editors) IE make all of the lower surfaces darker etc etc.. It my not be a textured model, but a little tweaking might make it un-necessary and its certainly a nice enough model to experiment with and build again.

cheers :thumb:

Actually come to think of it, this model might make a nice subject for a re-paint competition... ?
