Does anyone know how to wire a reverse loop without an auto reverser? Thanks.

- DCC or conventional DC?

- If DC, are you going to use the Atlas Controller?

- If you are not using the Atlas Controller, do you already know how to wire a DPDT toggle switch as a reversing switch (same for both DC and DCC)?

I figured it out but can you use the atlas switch for DCC?

With DCC, you reverse the polarity of the reversing loop while the train is on the reversing section.

With DC, you reverse the polarity of the rest of the layout while the train is in the reversing section.

You will change which slide switches you use on the Controller with DCC, but they are all there.

Pretty simple to do. I made up how to do one for a wye. All you need to do is make the whole loop isolated and apply the same principle as i did to my wye.
