When I was a kid in the 1970s, there were no video games, cell phones, internet, cable television and even the remote control, the microwave oven and the video-cassette were objects of desire unattainable for ordinary people, at least here in Brazil. The school works were made by consulting books in the library and schools sang the national anthem and swore to flag every day. Electronic games, only in Arcades. Taito and Konami ruled. Pinball machines left fingers smelling of cigarette. Here in Brazil Mad Magazine was read hidden from parents, the thought indecent and Playboy was sold with a black plastic covering the cover. Who led a Playboy to school was considered "the man". This type of television marked a good part of my childhood and this paper model is a way to rediscover some of that time where things were more simple ...

Thank you very much for the trip down "MEMORY LANE", and for the TV!
I too had a TV very similar to this one when I was growing in that time as well.
I have to agree with ASC, that time was very much the same for me as well.
