someone said on here, that you can remove dried glue from plastic by soaking the peice in boiling water or Pine-Sol. But, how long do you soak it for?

I think it would depend on the type of glue. Non-waterproof white or yellow wood glue can be softened with soaking. CA (superglue) can be weakened by freezing. If you used solvent type cement (the kind that "melts" the plastic together) there actually is no "glue" to remove - you will have to cut the pieces apart.
