Hi folks, I'm rejoining this forum after a retirement and move to western North Carolina. Much nicer down here; my old home is sitting under about a foot or so of fresh snow. I tell you I don't miss that.
Anyway, I'm starting out as a rookie, working on some ACW ships. Casement ironclads to start since they have kind of straight parts. I'm a model railroader, so working in paper isn't totally new. Making paper bend and curve will be a challenge, since railroad structures I've done before were just flat sheets. But with lots of practice and a dollop of your collective expertise, I think I'll like working in this medium.
