ThunderChild has finished the design of Ranger-3 and has sent me the kit to test build.

There are 15 sheets of parts for the shuttle alone.

I am starting off with the main engines.

Internal formers.

The skin of the engines.

Cockpit Interior

Here is the cockpit interior. Even though you may not be able to see much of it once it is inside the shuttle, there are quite a few panels ans consoles that can easily be greebled out.

Formers

Here are the formers. When working with these formers, just remember to take your time and use a bit of finesse. They will go together.

Here are the formers for the nose section.

Here are the formers for the rest of the ship.

Start off with formers I1, H1, F2-F6, G1 & G2.

I2 & H2 added.

The rest of the formers are added.

Then formers are now assembled. Next is applying the skin.

That cockpit is amazing! I wish I could see this, I would watch it with English subtitles, I watch many movies with subtitles. I can't find it in the U.S. though. AAaargh!

It is now time to skin the underside.
Starting with the wings.

Underside skin assembled (with landing gear bays attached.

Underside attached to the body.

Top skin of wings attached.
("NOTE" When attaching the skin for the top of the wing it is best to attach it to the body first, then attach it to the trailing edge, then finish attaching the outer edge. That way all of the texture lines match up properly.
