Here's an update on Ralph, who remains in North Memorial Hospital, still recovering from his surgery. Yesterday he was moved to a different room. There was just some shuffling relating to room assignments that resuted in his being moved down the hall.
Since his surgery, Ralph has been encouraged to be feeling better and stronger each day. However, yesterday he had a set-back and told his doctors that he was feeling really weak and tired. They discovered an elevated white blood cell count and have determined that he has pancreatitis. He'd been told that this could be one of the complications of his surgery.... So a specific prayer to be offered up is that he can fight this infection and get back on the track for recovery. I know this is discouraging to both Ralph and Susan, so they appreciate all the prayers and support you can offer them.
