RailFair30 - Part One

  1. Hi All!

Today I went to the 30th annual RailFair here in Ottawa, Ontario. I enjoyed myself for about four hours having a look at everything.

In that time, I managed to take about 90 pictures. Here are a few of them. (In consideration of those on dialup, I'm posting the pictures in several parts.)

I also shot about 35 minutes of video and will be editing and posting that at a later date.

    On to the pics!

Three rail O gauge. They also had the "Coors Light" train. I've got video of that...

    Of course, Thomas was there...

A very nicely done Z scale layout depicting a Swiss town...

And at the other end of the spectrum, a 3/4 in. scale live steam engine...

    A modular N scale layout...

Here is an 3mm (TT) scale layout. As the sign says, it is a "work in progress"...

This is an OO switching layout with very nice detail...

Jim: Since that "work in progress" is from the Three Millimetre Society, it's more likely to be TT gauge (British TT: 3mm to the foot, 12mm gauge track) aka TT3.
  3. David, you are correct. I misremembered it (I really should take notes.) There was another work in progress layout that was OO, but I did not get a picture of it.

    I've corrected my original post.

  4. Ralph

    Ralph Remember...it's for fun!

Thanks Jim! I appreciate you breaking this up for dial up folks like me!
