The trip was fantastic after 30 years a lot has changed, We got out and about a lot.
But here is stuff about railways.

I think I converted Charlie to a train spotter by the time I left
Anyway hope this is not boring.
    Here goes.

The tracks where the BC interurban runs , Sat and Sun for 3 hrs, Pity I had other plans for the week end.

    A sign with the info.

The Tram was a gift from Belgium and will be refurbished.

May 23rd 1887 was a great day for Vancouver, when CPR Engine 374 pulled the first transcontinental train into the city.
    She retired in 1945.

    Seattle here we come.
The main reason for the trip was to ride the Aussia Trams, these will be gone this year as we were told the powers that be wanted the little tiny plot of land that the barns are built on
    Go figure eh!!
The day was great as we took lots of shots of the water front.
But here is the train stuff.

Welcome home Chris!!! Those are some great shots - and make me wish I'd been along for the ride! You really got behind the scenes there. Can you tell me more about that unit 2672? What is it - I've never seen fans like that up front (if that's what they are).
