Profile/Avatar Pic Upload?

I've tried several times since yesterday to upload a pic for either my user profile or forum avatar, however every time I try I get the message "unable to save image". I take it this is related to the current pic/attachment issue affecting the forums?

I am sorry, but this is part of the MANY problems that we are experiencing at the moment.
The IT is working to resolve these issues and to get this forum up and running again.
Please be patient.
