I am gonna buy my first DCC set soon and I am a total greenhorn about it. Right now I am thinking about two systems: Prodigy Advance and Lenz Set-100. So far I like Prodigy Advance a bit more beacuse it has a knob to regulate the speed. Can somebody give me cons and pros of these DCC sets? How is one better then other?

I have had the Prodigy Advance for about 6 months now so I can give you some input on it. So far I've had no problems with it. The hand held is easy to use and comfortable, after using it for a short time it becomes routine. One feature I really like is the yard mode turn the knob to the right is forward, turn knob to the left is reverse makes switching real easy. Reading and Programming is no problem you can program on the main and have a dedicated programing track. It can handle up to 19 functions. Cons maybe in the future if MRC would come up with a wireless cab that would be nice ( but I can live without it ).
