Thank You. The photo was taken 2 years ago.
Dan, csiguy & Matt, GREAT ADDITIONS:thumb: , THANK YOU!:smilie:
Really, a HUGE THANK YOU to ALL you folks that are/have participated in this thread:bravo: .
This thread is good on a few levels, for those of you modeling and weathering the "here and now", this thread is a GOLD MINE, and for those of us that are curious to see whats still running around out there, its GREAT!, and some of us are just waiting to see if some of our favorite fallen flag cars show up, it just GOOD ALL AROUND:winki: .
Charlie, actually, your right, i was looking for "current" pics, but after some thought, i decided since the pics, though old, had cars that were fallen flags at the time they were taken, so on a technicality i let them pass:winki::smilie: . i really want to make this thread EASY, not complicated, so more people participate:thumb: . i will let all the pics that have been posted so far in here pass:winki: , but you have a good idea:thumb: , if anyone wants to start such threads, i say GO FOR IT!:mrgreen:
BTW, Charlie, NO NEED for apologies, i NEVER consider your comments/thoughts "butting in", you brought up a good point:winki: .
Here's some shots i got today, there was a couple strings of the CNW hoppers(about 25-30 cars) in WSOR's yard today, i posted a few.
i got the GT autorack at UP's yard today.
you folks sure do take great pictures.
i took these shots yesterday in Rochelle, the trains were moving pretty fast, some of these are a little blurry , but you can make out the writing & logos on them:winki: .
I caught this car in Marion on the CSX..
Saw a set of old white BN 2-bay hoppers surrounding two black WP hoppers between Clarkston and Pullman the other day. Had my camera, but also had the Mrs with frozen goods in the trunk that gave her the power to veto stopping for photos
Larry, GREAT CATCH!!:thumb::thumb:
Jason, sounds like you have to inform your wife on what the priorities are:119: ...i'm just kiddingsign1 , seems we find our way to the dog house enough as it is .
**Heres the LAST of the unposted Fallen Flag freight pics i took in Rochelle 2 weekends ago, and a couple shots i took in Janesville this past weekend.
Great Pictures Deano.
I know there was another BN caboose posted earlier but I was very pleased with myself for having thought of this thread and taken this picture while I was riding the Empire Builder last month. This was in the yard near Havre, MT.
