Hey all! It has been ages since my last post. Currently i'm hooked on post apocalyptic vehicles. I use toy cars that i buy from flea markets. Plastic or diecast, does not matter as long as i feel that i can work with them. Some take a lot of work, some not so much. I also use what ever materials i can with them. What ever works, goes. Here is one example of my early work.

Thanks! Yes i like the new forum, so much easier to put pictures. When i make these things i take a lot of pictures and then i put the tutorials at the Picasa albums.
That is where the link goes. This one was made from diecast toy. Choices are more limited when working with metal but it is also faster to work be cause one does not have to think so much which way to go.

Interesting, the SUV would have to have a 3/4 plate steel from just over the bottom of the front wheels to a bit above the top of the mind device to shield the vehicle from any damage. Looks like fun though, making this things. I am hoping for the present pre-apocalyptic reality to last for maybe.............ever? :)

These do not look like they were kit bashed. They look like they were regular kits that you bought that way.
The craftsmanship is SUPERB!!!

They look like they came from a T.V series, or something similar. Probably because of the theme. :)

In the movie, "The Fountain", spices, under great magnification are used for many of the special effects (Curry Powder and Cinnamon, among others). If you have not seen "The Fountain", you have missed one of the best movies ever made and one of the most misunderstood that I have ever seen! It should be watched 3 or 6 times, and high quality surround sound is absolutely necessary, to hear the last words, which I rarely hear people mention.

(These aren't the last words, but anyone who saw it knows what I am writing.)

"Finish it!", "I can't". Please, stay with me..............................................who would ever want to live forever if everyone else couldn't?

Interesting looking car. You did a GREAT JOB on it!!!
I do have to say that the report of that gun going off would deafen the driver (after a couple shots).
