So, Obama was here in San Marcos last night for a rally. Estimates are that 12,000 to 15,000 people turned out. It was packed. San Marcos has a population of about 35,000 plus 28,000 students at Texas State University. After the rally, a reporter from Austin asked a coed from the university if she would be voting for Obama in the primary next Tuesday and if she would stay for the caucus after the polls closed to help select delegates for the convention. She said, "Oh, yes. Unless American Idol is on."
