I'm working on an N scale weathering project., I just purchased some oil color and pastels today.
I want to do some heavy weathering , not just a wishy-washy gray wash :)
The selected boxcar candidate is the CPR 40' red "pacman" boxcar. See the picture.
My problem is that I couldn't find any prototype as a reference. I checked the CPR S.I.G and Railpictures. net ,but to no avail.
Could someone please be kind enough to post a picture or a link to that prototype boxcar.

Thanks in advance ( Merci )

Jacques

Thanks a lot TrainsWinnipeg and Triplex for those very helpful links . They are parts of mo bookmarks now.
I didn't see your replies until I came back from an open house at the Montréal Railroad Modelers Association's layout . And guess what, while there I was browsing through some books and I found a very interesting one: " Volume One: 40' Canadian Pacific Boxcars" by Richard Yaremko.
Unfortunately ( the book and your pictures seem to confirm that ) for a weathering project , CPR boxcars look neat , too neat.
I was expecting more challenge , such as this one:
