great pic deano of that cnw locomotive.
SEC GP30 #127 approching a grade crossing (no previous road for this one, it came undec.)
I knew there was a reason why I took this photo! The GP30 isn't very high on my list of favourites, barely edging out the BL2. :-D
NICE SHOT of that GP30 Wayne:thumb: , for me, the GP30's are my favorite of all the geeps:winki::mrgreen: .
Does CSX 2280 count?
It's mostly a GP30!
looks like it will pass to me Squidbait:thumb: .
Four you, Deano...
Two brand-spankin' new SD60M's (6309, 6310), fresh from the GMD plant in London, waiting to be delivered.
Can't you just smell that "new locomotive" smell?
OH my gosh, that has got to be the NICEST post you EVER directed at me Squidbait:thumb::smilie: , i think I'll cut it out and frame it:mrgreen: . a really GREAT PIC TOO!:bravo:
I tell you what, instead of dragging this out with the endless amount of UP engine pics i have, I'll make it easy to get out of this, heres a Hopper:winki: .
BTW, THANKS Squidbait:smilie: .
No problem Deano, glad you liked it. I've got cleaner roster shots of some of those babies, I'll see if I can dig them out and shoot them your way.
NYC hopper...should open the door for lots of pics!
THANKS Squidbait:smilie: , tell you what though, dig them out and save them for the next time UP engines come up, that will give you some good fire power:winki::mrgreen::smilie: .
i got this car from my good friend Wayne:thumb::smilie:
...and that's 'cause I wanted to concentrate on older-style cars:
I'm pretty sure that this reefer is related to the NYC, that "early bird" logo has New York Central written on it:
Well, since it's still boxcars, here's an ex-Delaware & Hudson boxcar, #01010275, to give it a number for the AAT, lol:
So either a boxcar, D&H unit, or something #01010275
Boxcars? Here's the best pic of my Atheran 60th Aniversary RTR boxcar that I've ever taken IMO:
and if it needs to be on the layout if it's a model:
So: a boxcar, WSOR unit, or a new one: any units done up for special occasions and/or reasons!:mrgreenif that last one is legal by the rules, that is)
this ones got horn hooks
Maine East Central
Do you perhaps mean Maine (ME) Central (C)
Or maybe Mountain Equipment Co-op?
Nice shot, though. Where'd you snag that?
Ooops...You're right...My bad.
Anyway...Here's another "MEC" boxcar.
