Here are some pics of MTH Triplex in HO
I got two Proto 2000 L&N E6-A's in the mail today from a friend in Texas. They were both converted into dummy locos but the shells won't sit on the frames properly as there are no tabs on the inside of the shells. It'll be a simple matter to make some tabs from scrap. The locos are identical, right down to their numbers, 776.
U34CH #4167 departs from the station.
Great loco pics everyone! Spankybird that Triplex is a beautiful monster! Jeffrey and GEC, terrific diesel pics!
My first contribution has no train at all! I took several shots of action at this location; Railroad Ave in West Mill.
OK, so here is a train....A KP&W interchange run with the Penn Central headed by an F and a GP9 roll through town.
Jeffery, that E6 looks sharp:thumb::thumb: That was one of the paint schemes I was going to do my hobbytown E6 in when I was younger. This is what it looks like now:mrgreen:
Southwick and Winsted's kinda new SD35 high nose is pulled out of the New England Rail Car's shops, waiting final details.
Spankybird, that Triplex is amazing!! :thumb::mrgreen:
Great start to this weeks thread:thumb:
I see theres a lot of headend pics so hows about a tail end shot..
no no not that kind of tailend:twisted:
88fan, was that pic taken outside? If not that is one awesome backdrop:mrgreen:
If the locomotive is pushing does that count as the tail end?
Here are a few odds and ends...
GEC: I reckon the tail end is the tail end no matter whats on it..lol
Kyle: Love that second shot:thumb: Cool mix of power too:thumb:
Charlie: That splains why the BAR units were seen on CR from time to time. Thanks for the info, I kinda guessed thats what was happenen but never knew for sure.:thumb:
Jeffrey: Nice shot:thumb:
I noticed this trailer in a contractors lot on post the other day. I've probably been driving past it every day for the last 4 years and never noticed it.
She'll be comin round the moutain whe..er ,sorry..
L&N comin round the moutain:
This little yard is so busy I've got two switchers working it!
This guy may feel that he's coming and going.
Today's project was to rebuild and re-motor a Proto 2000 E6-A that had been stripped and made into a dummy loco. I do believe I accomplished my goal.

Here is a Southern Pacific 2-8-0 viewed from the fireman's seat of an E-8 at the railway museum in Chandler, Arizona.
Nice shots everyone.
