I have started building a Halo Pelican and thought I would document the process.

More to come as I manage to put it together.

Thanks for sharing and for documenting the build. There can never be enough build threads. Build threads help in finding discrepancies and how to manage them. Keep up the great work and keep posting. See you around the forum or in my next build thread.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
I will take a paus in this build while I prepare things for a miniature gaming convention at the end of august.
I will resume the build once the stress for that is past.

So... August has clearly come and gone, anymore progress on this?

I downloaded the same file years ago online, but got stopped early on in the build as there were a few parts that were a little unclear as to how they went together and where they were supposed to go on the model.

Still have the cut parts somewhere, though for the life of me I wouldn't know where, lol. In retrospect, it's better off as I've found larger and more detailed files for the Pelican since, and so plan on building one from those larger files.

Good job on your build of this one, though. You've definitely made it further than I ever did. Should make for a nice little display model once done.
