I have used Peco C80 turnouts exclusively with Atlas flex track previously, but was wondering if anyone found it beneficial to use sections of Atlas or Peco sectional track with them, and which radius ones make sense.
I was surprised to find that Peco C80 had some sectional track like their ST15, ST14, ST3, etc, which are from their Setrack line. Radius wise, are they usable with say the C80 medium or curved turnouts?
In areas that are tight or where it may be hard to get the right curve with flex track, I could see where a couple pieces of sectional track might come in handy. For example, for a simple passing track, could any of the sectional pieces (Atlas or Peco) be used on both diverging routes to make a consistent and aligned transition to the straight passing track?
